THE SURETY OF HEAVEN FOR CHRISTIANS (Part 2 THE SPOTLESS ONES)

THE SURETY OF HEAVEN FOR CHRISTIANS (Part 2 THE SPOTLESS ONES)

In the part One of THE SURETY OF HEAVEN, I explained several points on how someone that believe in Jesus can never miss heaven. Now I want to address the issue of being spotless.
One of the major reason why so many Christians are not sure of going to Heaven is they believe they have  to one spot or the other in their lives. It is the will of God that we live good lives on earth. Christianity is not opposed to morality. But, we must understand that it is not morality that set us apart as Christians. IT IS WHO WE BELIEVE. WE BELEIVE IN JESUS AND WE HAVE LIFE. John 3:15-17.  Until this is understood, many people will be frustrated in trying to “make heaven”. Any one that believe in Jesus is never told to “make heaven”. We were never told to be spotless in ourselves. The essence of Christianity is not to be perfect in Character. It is rather to have life in Christ and keep knowing the life you have received. (For more details on this check my post on understanding salvation )
Ephesians 5:26 “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
Many times, people explain this text to mean that the Church should present themselves before God spotless.  This is not in the Bible. If you look at verse 25 of this Chapter, it was talking about Jesus. It is Christ who will present to HIMSELF  A GLORIOUS CHURCH, NOT HAVING SPOT. We are not to present ourselves. So if at the coming of Christ, the Church has spot, it is the incompetent of Christ. God forbid.
For this spotless presentation to be possible, we must understand that what God call spotless is not what man call spotless. We serve a God that does not input sin   on any man.
2 Corinthians 5:19  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
The word “imput “ is an accounting term. It means to reckon, to pass to one’s account.  God does not reckon sin on anybody's account. But , Man of God, does it mean God likes sin? No, not at all. It is that He doesn't deal  with man according to their sins. Imputing and committing are two different things. The Bible didn't say man doesn't commit sin, but God doesn't imput sin on man’s account. This can be alleged to what happened to the Children of Isreal in Numbers 23 when Balak hired Balaam to curse the Children of Isreal. This Is the response of Balaam,  Numbers 23:21  He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.
Notice, it did not say, there were not committing iniquity, but He didn’t BEHOLD IT. It is IMPOSSIBLE, that no one was sinning at that moment in the nation of Isreal.
Does this mean then, everyone is going to Heaven? No, not at all.  “People will go to hell because they refuse to go to heaven” as Pst Eghosa will always put it. The price is paid for everyone. Only those who believe and receive life will surely be with Jesus at the last day.
John 3
15  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Jesus came to die for the whole world, but only those who believe in His death are saved. For example, if in a serious farming, a particular rich man goes to a restaurant and pay for the feeding of a village for one month. Then he sends some people to go announce to the villagers that the food has been paid for. To some, they will doubt it and not go and eat. Others who are wise will eat and live. Certainly, those that eat not if they die no one is to blame. They choose to die in hunger because they didn't believe in the price. Therefore they didn’t  go and eat. It will be foolishness to think it is the rich man that is making them to die in hunger. They choose to. This is exactly the case of those who don’t believe in Jesus. They are already sentenced to condemnation unless they believe. God is not sending anyone to hell. He has made provision for safety in Christ.

Glory to God, anyone that has believed in Jesus will surely be presented spotless before God by Christ. It is IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE BODY TO HAVE SPOT WHEN THE HEAD IS SPOTLESS. We are the body of Christ.  1Corinthians 12:27.
Christ is our Righteousness.   1Corithians 1: 30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
This means that Christ is our approval before God. He is our acceptance. Indeed CHRIST IS more than enough. It is very shameful that you as someone that believe in Jesus is not sure of heaven. What will you now say to the unbelievers?  But, you say man of God, no one really knows. It is just by the grace of God. My friend,  You ought to know. That is why you have a copy of the Bible. The Grace of God is in surety not uncertainty. Relax, YOU HAVE MADE HEAVEN. IT IS YOUR HOME. YOU ARE A CITIZEN JARE, Don't let any one deceive you from the simplicity in Christ.
