GOD IN MAN; THE DREAM OF THE FATHER COMES THROUGH

There is something that has always been the intention of God from the creation of the world. It is to be seen in man. In Genesis 1:26, we see that God’s intention for making man was for man to be in His image.
Genesis 1 :26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Image here means a phantom, a resemblance, a representative figure.
We see in the epistles (the explanation of Genesis to Malachi ) that Christ is the exact Image of God. Colossians I : 15  Who is the image of the invisible God...    Also read Hebrews 1:3. (For more on this check my post on God’s selfie)
So God’s intention from the beginning has always been for man to be HIS REPRESENTATION in Christ Jesus. The big invisible God wants to be seeing in man. He wants to live in man, He wants to work through man. This is the DREAM of the Father.  This was what Adam fell short of. Adam rather made a choice to do things his own way without God, to be independent in God. This choice Adam made by not believing the gospel. The choice of Adam brought Sin and death to the world.  Romans 5: 12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:  Adam was a pattern man. His choice affected the whole of mankind. This brought about the plan for the redemption of man, to bring  man to God’s original plan which is to make him His representation in Christ.
In All the  old testament books of the Bible, we see different promises of How God will be in man and will live through him. All that the people had was the Spirit of God coming on them for an operation and leaving after the operation. The prophets in their enquiry stumbled on this many times.
Isaiah 44: 3  For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
Ezekiel 36: 26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 
27  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
It was the promise that they keep speaking off. How that God will be in man and walk through man. This is the glory that they spoke of. All the prophets spoke was the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow.
1Peter 1: 10  Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11  Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12  Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
The sufferings of Christ is death and burial. This was a means to the glory that should follow. The glory that should follow is His resurrection and ascension into our heart. This the prophets spoke of in different forms. This has always been the dream of the father, to live and be seeing in man.
Joel also prophesied it in Joel 2: 28  And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Peter quoted this place in Acts 2 as a fulfilment when the Spirit was poured out.
THE PROMISE OF GOD BEEING IN MAN IS FINALLY FULFILLED WHEN A MAN GET BORN AGAIN, when a man put faith in Jesus as his saviour. Let’s look at John 3.
1  There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2  The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. note
4  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and ofthe Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. note
8  The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Read this scripture above again  before you continue the write up.
Nicodemus told Jesus that no man can do the things the miracles He does except God be with him. Nicodemus understands that from the old testament, the Spirit of God comes upon people for miraculous operations. Jesus referred him to a GREATER EXPERIENCE which is the new birth. This new birth will mean that the Spirit will not just be coming and going. God through His spirit will have a PERMANENT RESIDENT IN MAN. When a man is born of the Spirit of God, he becomes one with God through His spirit. “that which is born of the Spirit is spirit”  God has finally seeing His dwelling place.
This is what Paul was talking of when he said WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD.  1Corinthians 6: 19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God....
The word temple is “naos” it means sacred edifice, shrine, dwelling place. Now we have become the sacred edifices OF GOD, the shrine of God. God finally has a house built by Himself. We are that city Abraham was looking forward. The old testament guys long to see our days. Galatians summarize the blessing of Abraham as the promised Spirit. Galatians 3:14  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Anytime I read the different exploits in Genesis to Malachi, it amazes me What men did by the Spirit of God. Look at What Jesus said
Matthew 11: 11  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he
Jesus referred to John as the greatest of all the prophets because John was the one that pointed out to the world the who the prophets spoke about. Notice the statement after that, the least in the kingdom is greater than Him. This implies that even the least (if there is any least) in the kingdom of Christ cannot be compared to the people before Christ. The least cannot be compared to Elijah, Elisha, Abraham,  Isaac, Jacob and the rest of them. When next you read the exploit of these men, see it as WHAT YOU CAN DO AND EVEN DO MORE BECAUSE YOU CARRY GOD.
What a privilege to have God in us and as us. We are the carriers of God. God is invisible.  We have the rear privilege to be HIS body and representation in Christ Jesus. We have become one spirit with Him. Forever stock with God. Look at this scriptures below and ponder on them over and over again.
1 Corinthians 6:  17  But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:27  Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Have you seeing it now? You are God’s body, you are one with Him. How CLOSE CAN YOU BE TO SOMEONE YOU ARE ONE WITH? You are close to God. The desire in man to be close to God is finally granted in Christ Jesus. It was actually God that came chasing after you in Christ. When next you feel like not close, remind yourself. This is not a feeling, it is who you are.  This is why Jesus was called Emmanuel,  God with us. God was revealed as man so that man can partake of His nature and be one with Him.  You are one with God. The only closeness you can desire is to know who you have become and to talk  with God always.
Maybe you don’t get the implication of this. What I am actually saying is that you have the abilities of God. What you allow on earth is what is allowed in heaven. You are the presence of God walking the earth(As pst Eghosa will always say).The spirit of God is invisible. You make Him visible. The manifestation of the Spirit popularly known as the gifts of the Spirit are your abilities. 1 Corinthians 12. The next time you see a sick person, lay hand and the person will be healed. God lives in you, He saves through you, He moves through you. Any time someone is asking where was God when so and so happened? It is actually because a carrier of God refuse to take charge. God is saying where are you? Arise and start changing things. People should not feel the absent of God when you are around. We the carriers of God are the greatest force on earth. No wonder why, one man of God said, one Christian is greater than all the armies of the world.
It look like we are ordinary people because of the mortal body we have. This is why we anticipate the coming of Christ. For when we see Him we shall be like Him.  1 John 3: 2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Before His coming, we must ensure we fully represent Him in power and manifestations. We have His spirit. We have this treasure in the earthen vessel. You must know this , You are God’s. Less you die like men.

Confess these words below,

I am God walking the earth
I have the spirit of God
I am the shrine of God
I make manifest the Spirit of God anywhere I go by healing the sick, raising the death, comforting and edifying people by prophecy, doing all manner of miracles.
All things are possible to me because I have God in me
I am the one that make things right
I am the dream of the father comes through. Glory to God.
