SUPERNATURAL RELATIONSHIPS

SUPERNATURAL RELATIONSHIP
The life of a believer is designed to thrive in the right relationships. Association is everything in life and much more in the Christian faith. In fact , we got saved because of association and relationship. Imagine you were not privileged to meet the person that preached to you to get you saved ? You see . You got born again because of relationships. You also remain relevant to God because of relationships. They are different kinds of relationships explained in the scriptures. Supernatural relationships in this context covers the relationships we have in Christ Jesus because of the new birth experience. This new birth experience affects our other relationships like in marriage, work place and relationship with our pastor and relationship with one another.
2 Corinthians 5
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
 16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
  Jesus died for us so we should not live unto ourselves. So in Christ Jesus we become new creatures . We do not live unto ourselves but unto Christ . This means that the relationship we come into by the virtue of our new birth should means more to us that our natural relationships. There is physical birth and Spiritual birth. The physical birth is what brings us into this world by our earthly parents . The spiritual birth brings us into the family of Christ. So any man in Christ is a new creature. We can give birth to as many as possible children in Christ. Physical birth brings you into this world while Spiritual birth brings you into the Family of Christ
John.1.12
 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
When a man is born again, he is born of God. This birth affects every thing he does including his relationship.
We saw how Jesus prioritize spiritual relationship all through the scriptures. In fact, to Jesus relationship with the brethren in the Lord meant more than relationship with his mother and siblings.
Matthew 12
46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
 47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
 48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? And who are my brethren?
 49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
 50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Jesus sees His disciples as His relation. Mary the mother of Jesus was smart enough to believe in Jesus and join this heavenly family. This doesn’t mean that believers should not value physical relationships with our earthly relations. But more value should be on supernatural relationships. This means that what you can not deny your earthly parents and siblings you should not deny a brother in Christ and you should do much more .New birth experience gives us an equal ground even above family ties.
Mary understood the important of supernatural relationships over physical relationship that is why it’s insanity to worship Mary Today
Act 1:14“These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
After the departure of Christ Mary and his brethren joined themselves with the disciples because supernatural relationship has nothing to do with earthly relationship. This is why we can have a pastor pastor his wife or a pastor pastor his Husband. We should never allow physical relationships to hinder us from supernatural relationships. For example, a pastor’s child should see the pastor as a pastor not just his father . Hence, he should be able to receive from the pastor. We should know when to put the boundaries when it comes to supernatural relationship. when we talks about supernatural relationship it has nothing to do with physical bonds .
Supernatural relationship is based on the word and the spirit not based on what ever the world calls it. In Christ Jesus there is nothing like the rich and the poor or the educated and non – educated . It’s a classless and ageless relationship. In Christ Jesus there is neither male nor Female
Galatians 3
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
This is why it is ungodly to see a female who is a pastor/ministry gift as inferior to the male. Ministry doesn’t consist in gender. There is nothing like woman pastor . It is a pastor who is a man or human. In Christ there is neither male nor female.
RELATIONSHIPS HIERARCHIES
There are hierarchies in relationship in Christ. One of the biggest mistake a believer can make is to see everyone one of us as equal. Though we have the Spirit, reading through the scriptures we see that we are not equal. The Bible makes a clear distinction between those OVER and UNDER. To be under is not a demeaning position. So in Christ, we are told on how to relate with those in our level, those over us and those under us. Let’s look at some scriptures
1 Peter 5
1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
 3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
 5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
The word “elder” is a general word used to describe ministry gift as pastor is used today . The word elder means senior in rank. It doesn’t necessarily means senior in age. A child who is a pastor can be an elder to his parents. Remember, it is the context of supernatural relationships. So in 1 Peter 5, peter gave instructions to the elder (pastor) and the younger (members ).
The elder is instructed to FEED THE FLOCK. The primary work of a pastor is to feed the flock. An elder or pastor is the person that labors in word and doctrine. So your pastor is one who teaches you God’s word every time. This is why it’s wickedness for someone to labor for you in word and doctrine everytime and you see someone else as your pastor. you will never be able to receive from your local church and your pastor with the mindset of looking for another. So if your pastor is teaching you sound doctrine he is doing his work. Every other thing he does is in addition. His work is to make sure you are serving God better. This he does by teaching and instructing you , by praying for you and by showing you examples of doing the word. The elder is instructed to have oversight of his members not by constraints but by being examples. The pastor doesn’t lord over his members.
In verse 5 we see that there is the younger and elder.
“5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder..”
The primary responsibilities of the younger is to submit. The extent at which you submit to your pastor is the extent at which your pasor can control you and be a blessing to you.
The word Submit is from the Greek word " hupotassō”. It means
to arrange under, to subordinate, to subject, put in subjection, to subject one's self, obey, to submit to one's control, yield to one's admonition or advice and to be subject.
 If the elder/pastor is feeding the flock and the younger is not submitting, the younger would never benefits from the giftedness of the pastor. It is for your safety that you are under a pastor. Your pastor cannot bless you beyond your submission.
Hebrew 13:
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you
The Pastor has a rule over his members in doctrine. We are instructed to remember/know and follow our pastors. The word ‘remember' means be mindful of them. Never at anytime forget that this is your pastor, you follow your pastor as they follow Christ. The word Submit used in Hebrews 13 means resist no longer or to yield. Your obedience to your pastor is for your good. We are commanded to obey our pastors. You should be such a member that the pastor is happy when he hears your name because of your submission.
  Another thing to learn here is that in this hierarchy relationship the YOUNGER CANNOT CORRECT THE PASTOR only those above the pastor can correct him. No where in the scriptures did we see a member instruct the Pastor. it’s an abnormality even when they are doing what is wrong. You can better talk to an authority that your pastor listens to. In following we don’t have authority to correct your pastor. You can only suggest for your pastor and pray for him. Don’t over grow your pastor to the extent that you want to be above him. Remain under because there is nothing you can ever do that will make you be above your pastor.
Let’s look at a typical example of pastor and member relationship shown to us by Paul in Philemon.
Verse 8 Paul said he might be bold to enjoin(command) Him this means that for someone to be your pastor he has the power to command You.
“ 8 Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,”
Read the entire book of Philemon which is just one chapter. You will notice a lot to learn about Supernatural relationship. First, we see that Paul was writing to Philemon to receive Onesimus. Paul noted that he had the authority to command Philemon but he will not . So he admonishes him thus;
17 If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.
18 If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;
19 I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
20 Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.
21 Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say
Notice PAUL WAS CONFIDENT that Philemon will not do other wise . Hope you understand how grievous Onisemus offence was? He was a run away slave. He deserves to die when caught in that culture. This is because Philemon paid for his life as a slave. With this offence, Paul could still boast that HE HAS CONFIDENCE in the Obedience of Philemon. Your pastor must have confidence in your obedience. You should be the one that your pastor is certain that if he tells you what to do it will be done.
MY PASTOR; MY SPIRITUAL FATHER
In supernatural relationships, we now have what is called Spiritual fatherhood. Let’s look at what the Bible teaches on this . Many times , you hear people say there is nothing like having a Spiritual father or son because of the abuses of this. This is a display of complete ignorance of the Scriptures. Let’s look at the Bible. We use Paul as an example . We have several instances where he called people sons.
Paul called Onisimus his son this means that Paul birthed the gospel experience in the life of Onisimus. He did this why he was in the prison.
Philemon 1
10 I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
1 Timothy 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
Paul called Timothy his son. This relationship is not in the flesh. when Paul says my own son in the Faith it means he birthed the conviction of the gospel in him. So Paul was instrumental to birthing conviction and ministry in the life of Timothy.
See another instance;
2 Timothy 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
In fact, Paul was confident in Timothy as his son.
Philippians 2
¹⁹ But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
²⁰ For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
²¹ For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.
²² But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.
Paul had a good testimony of Timothy.
Paul also called Titus his son in the faith.
Titus
 4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
 We can see from the above references that we can have Spiritual children. Remember, God’s plan is for us to replenish the earth. The question now is
HOW DO YOU KNOW YOUR SPIRITUAL FATHER?
1Corinthians 4:
¹⁴ I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.
¹⁵ For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
Paul warn and instructed them as their father. He was bold to tell the Corinthian church that he had begotten them in the gospel. So a Spiritual father is one that establishes you in the gospel and makes you become an effective minister. This is primarily your pastor except you grew up in a church setting where you didn’t grow in the gospel until you leave the assembly to another. Your spiritual father may not necessarily be the one that got you saved but the one that establishes you in the gospel.. DON’T BE CONFUSED. You will see a believer who attends a good local church where he is taught the word and the things of the Spirit and he will be asking who is my Spiritual Father. It is only a fool that looks to the ends of the earth for fatherhood. The simple question is who got you established in the gospel and made you fervent in the Spirit? That is your spiritual father . A pastor by default is the father of his members . We understand there may be a case of relocation where you leave a location to another. You keep honouring the person that birthed the gospel in your life and ensure you give 100 percent submission to the pastor of where you are. So you see him as your pastor or father because he is the one doing the work of a father in teaching you the gospel and making you fervent in the Spirit serving the Lord.
Paul called the Galatians church his children. Notice he told us that he travails to until Christ be formed in them.
Gal 4:19“My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,”
  As a father He was instrumental in Christ being formed in them.
A spiritual father is the one instrumental about gospel of Christ being formed in you. A Spiritual father is the one that birth the gospel experience in you.
Your Spiritual father is not the person that first fathered you if you didn’t know the fact of the gospel through him. He is the one that started the gospel experience in you he is the one that brought out ministry out of you. That is your spiritual father. You can also pray about it to know your spiritual Father. But, never look far from who is being a blessing to you. You attend a good local Church where the word of God is taught and the things of the Spirit is demonstrated? You need not ask who is your Spiritual father. Stay committed to your pastor as your Spiritual father and maximize his blessedness. Stay commited to a good local Church and reverence your pastor as your Spiritual father. If your gathering is not making you grow and learn Christ find another. The ONLY scriptural reason to leave a church is Spiritual growth.
YOU OWE YOUR PASTOR/SPIRITUAL FATHER THIS
Reading through the scriptures, you will see that we are commanded to OBEY our pastors, GIVE to our pastors and PRAY for our pastors. These three key things we must do for those over us in the Lord. We have seen the place of obedience to your pastor.
Let’s see some references on giving to your Pastor and praying for your pastor.
1 Theselonians 5
12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
1 Corinthians 9
11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
12 If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
13 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? And they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
Galatians 6
6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
KINDLY READ THE ABOVE scriptures again. You will observe that giving to your pastor is instructed as an obligatory service. In fact in 1 Corinthians 9, Paul’s argument was that though he has the right to eat of their resources, he doesn’t abuse this right by preaching the gospel with demands. So always know that giving to your pastor is not LIKE giving to an orphanage home. It is taught as the pastors right. This is because the pastor lives for the members in communicating the word to them. So not giving to a pastor that labours over you day and night is taught as extortion. Never allow the world to regulate how you give to your pastor. Do God’s word and MAKE A HABBIT OF giving to your pastor as he keeps blessing you.
1 Timothy 5
17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
 18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
Notice, the elder(pastor) that rules well is to be counted Worthy of double honour. The pastor rulling well is in doctrine. It is pure wickedness to give to other pastors more than you give to your pastor who teaches you every time. Not giving to your pastor is like closing the mouth of the ox that works for you. NOTHING is too big to give to your pastor. There is no honour too much for a pastor .
When a pastor blesses you , THE RIGHT RESPONSE is look for something to give him, instead of stretching forth your hand to refill him. If you had what it take to refill him why didn’t you refill yourself? Galatians 6:6 says , communicate to him in ALL GOOD things after blessing you not refill him with more anointing.
We are commanded the give good things like money, substances and services to our pastors who communicates spiritual things to us. You cannot keep saying you don’t have. If you truly love and value your Pastor. you must have any of these to give to him always. You don’t have? It is because you don’t value. What about giving your time to do things for your pastor? Before you think of what you don’t have, first think of what you have no matter how little. Most importantly, MAKE A HABBIT of giving to your pastor. DO IT EVERYTIME.
ALSO we are told to PRAY FOR OUR PASTORS . We saw Paul asking the church to pray for him. Notice there are particular prayers we are to Pray for pastors. More anointing is not part of it. Let’s look at some of these prayers in Paul’s writing.
2Thessalonians 3
1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
Romans 15
30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
31 That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
Here we see that we can PRAY FOR OUR PASTORS TO BE DELIVERED from wicked men. This is very important for our pastors . WE CAN also PRAY THAT UTTERANCE be given to our pastors to preach as they ought to. This means that there word may have power in the life of men. This prayer will affect you too as you are the primary audience of your Pastor.
Ephesians 6
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
So we pray for our pastors for them to be able to proclaim the gospel as they ought to. These are some prayers we owe our pastors. We also PRAY FOR the Ministry/Service of our pastor to be more accepted by more men. Romans 15:31. Dear believer, take up the responsibility to pray for your pastor and do it often.
So in supernatural relationship with our pastor, we must learn to honour and obey our pastors, give to our pastors and pray for our pastors .
OFFENCE IS AN ENEMY
In relationship with our pastor, we MUST ensure we should not be offended at him. This is because offence can hinder our reception. You keep your pastor holy in your eyes even when you have reasons to be offended. David showed us a pattern of this in the scriptures when Saul wanted to kill him. David had opportunities to kill Saul but he never did. See what he said ;
1Samuel 24:10
Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD’S anointed.
David divine response to Saul was never to be in oppositions against him. This is because David understands supernatural relationship. Saul was out to kill David. So physically speaking, David had every reason to kill Saul. Even when he had opportunities to harm Saul, He never did. On no occasion should a believer be caught talking or acting against a pastor because there is nothing a pastor will do that Will make him less a pastor or less the Lord’s anointed. So you see Him as God’s anointed and relate with Him as God’s anointed. But man of God, what if the pastor is out rightly against you? The fact remains that it doesn’t make the pastor less anointed . So you have no reason to be offended at your pastor or be against your pastor. Don’t be an agent of the devil in fighting pastors especially in this social media generation. You must not be the one to share it. This is not to endorse any sin even from pastors. But, you must understand that being a pastor is not by works but by the grace of God. Let your eyes be on the GIFTEDNESS of your pastor not on his faults.
You cannot enjoy the grace you didn’t submit to. There are consequences for not submitting to your pastor. In Numbers 12:1-11, Miriam became leprous because she spoke against Moses, the Lord’s anointed. You can resist God by speaking against the Lord’s anointed. A lot of persons would have just be better if they didn’t choose to fight against a pastor. One grave consequence for fighting your pastor is that instead of receiving from God through the pastor, you will be in opposition against God. This exposes you to several satanic works like sicknesses.
Never forget offence is an enemy you must not allow it in your relationship with your pastor and any other relationship. Make up your mind never to be offended at your Pastor. Offence can come WHEN YOU REMOVE YOUR EYES FROM what matters. In relating with your pastor, what matters is his Contributions to your spiritual growth , how he labours in the word and doctrine. If you put your eyes on familiarity, his faults , his mannerisms or any other thing, you will sure be offended. When you are offended, it is to your detriment. This is because you will not be able to RECEIVE from your pastor again. Let’s see the case of Jesus when He walked the earth. He was mighty in deeds and words. But, see what happened in Mark 6.
Mark 6
1 And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.
 2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? And what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. note
4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
 5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
Notice, Jesus could do no mighty works before the people were offended at him. The people were more concerned about his background than his GIFTEDNESS. Remember, Ministry is not in age, background, wealth or any thing physical. Ministry is in grace. Your younger brother can be your Pastor. Your wife can be over you in the Lord as your pastor, then at home be under you as your wife. You must have enough Sense to separate both. Offence can come from what your pastor is doing or what you think he failed to do. John the Baptist was offended at the same Jesus that he spoke of. He later was asking if Jesus was the one. This is probably because he expected Jesus to do something about his imprisonment.
RELATIONSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER
Among believers, we have relationship with one another apart from relationship with those above us. We see an example of this relationship between Jonathan and David. We have a lot to learn from this. Kindly read 1 Samuel 18. What is key in this kind of relationship is love, forgiveness and honour.
Romans 12:10
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.
We prefer one another in love. Remember love is unconditional. It is doing things for another without expecting to get. You put your brother in Christ before you. This means that the same way we love our biological brothers and care for them we should do the same to our brothers in Christ Spiritual family should means a lot to us so all I owe my brother and sister is love I will not do things that hurt them.
So for those under you don’t Lord over them, you teach them, your control is in teachings, instructions and showing them examples.
For fellow believers, we show love. we should go the extra mile for them
1 Peter 2:17
Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
So in love, a believer must prioritize doing things for one another.
We pray for one another
We forgive one another
We love one another
We give to one another
We prophesy to one another
We cover for one another
We are one family in Christ. Our bias must be for this family. Our PREFERENCE should always be fellow believers.
Galatians 6
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
We have THE ESPECIALLY set. They are fellow believers. This will include those in our local Church and other churches. In as much as the person is a Christian, he is my brother. This is a blood relationship. We are bought and bound by the blood of Jesus.
MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP
 Because we are in THIS WORLD, In Spiritual relationship marriage now comes in. Certain wisdom shared from the scriptures you should note about marriage. To start with, marriage must be seeing as honourable. Do not allow the world to define marriage for you. So before you get married, note that it marriage relationship must be taken seriously. The only reason a guy should ask a sister out is if he want to marry her so if you are really convince that this is the person you want to marry tell your pastor first because any relationship you are not bold to tell your pastor is not a worthy relationship. For you to know who to marry the person must be born again. There is no relationship between light and darkness. Primarily you marry a believer but not every believer you can marry that is where doctrinal persuasion and preference comes in. Marry who you like. This person must be a Christian. Then you follow the leading of the Spirit in marriage. God can lead you on who to marry. You can make your choice and if you don’t have any resistance from your spiritual authority and God you go ahead. That is why you should learn to follow the leading of tye Spirit in other areas even before marriage decision. It should not be in marriage you want to hear God first. There is nothing like dating in the Bible. I must be convinced of the relationship before I go into it. This is how a believer must live.
For the married, The Bible is quite authoritative on how to behave ourselves in marriage.
Ephesians
 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
READ THE ABOVE SCRIPTURE AGAIN. Read at least three times before you proceed. You will notice, the wife is to SUBMIT to the husband as the head of the home. Note the woman is not told to submit to everyman on earth but THE HUSBAND. It is tradition that relegates woman to always be subservient to men. It is only in marriage setting, women are told to submit to THEIR OWN HUSBANDS. This is in particular reference.
The word to submit means to arrange under or to bring oneself under the control of another. It is the same Greek word hupotassō explained earlier. So the wife is to arrange herself under the control of the husband. She submits to the husband the same way we submit to Jesus as our Lord. Remember, submission and being controlled is not demeaning. It is only a fool that hates control. Everything that exist is under control. This is why your television has remote, your car has starring and your phone has touchpads/button. In fact to not want to be controlled is a control itself. So the wife is told to ALLOW his husband to control her in submission. Never marry a Man you can not submit to. This submission must be in all areas.
The husband should LOVE the wife as Christ Love the Church. This love is unconditional. The same way the wife is to submit in all areas, the husband must love whether the wive is submissive or not . The relationship between Jesus and the Church serves as a pattern for us in marriage. The love of Christ is available for us as believers at all the even when we walk in disobedience. God can not change his mind on loving us. So Paul uses this to instruct us in marriage. Love will always find a way. When you love your wife, role assignment in the home is not a issue. You won’t watch the woman you love to be worked out without assisting her. In MARRIAGE, LOVE IS SPELT AS SACRIFICE, not romance. This the husband must be willing to give at all times. The wive also as an act of love submits to the husband. This must regulate whatever we do in marriage.
RELATIONSHIP IN THE WORK PLACE
The Bible is not silent about relationship in our work place . We are believers and this must reflect anywhere we find ourselves.
1 Peter 2
18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
Here we are instructed to obey our masters even the wicked ones. So as a believer never find yourself in a workplace where you are not ready to obey the constituted authorities there . There is nothing godly in disobeying your master.
Colossians 3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God
We obey our masters in the flesh not with eye service. This Obedience must be at all times in there presence and absence.
 Titus 2:9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again.
1 Timothy 6
1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort
We are instructed above not to look down on our masters even though they are fellow believers. Many times, people seem to take advantage of there masters because they are fellow believers. They keep acting in insubordination taking the person for granted because he is believer or even a pastor. Understand that in the work place you should never disobey your boss because he is a Christian.
The masters in turn are instructed to pay there servants there due wage.
Colossians 4
1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
You should never underpay your employees as a believer. Never employ any one you are not ready to pay. Your master must treat your servants with respect as a believer knowing that you have a master which is Jesus Christ our Lord.
In summary we MUST KNOW THAT GOD IS FOR RELATIONSHIP. Anything that separates a relationship cannot be of God. God wants that marriage relationship to work. God wants you to remain in good relationship with your pastor and fellow believers . God is for togetherness. Together we win much more in CHRIST. It is the devil that wants us to be apart and alone. Because relationship is important to God all through the scriptures are instructions on relationships. For all kinds of Relationship for us God’s Word is the standard. For earthly parents, we are told to obey our parents and even give to them (Ephesians 6:1). Parents are told raise there children in the Lord.
LOVE AND SACRIFICE remains the key to a every successful relationship. Learn to let go for your relationship. Don’t be a parasite only in a relationship for what you will gain. Your goal should be to impart one another. Finally, FIGHT for your relationship. Take a stand to make it work. This is why you pray for your relationship and give no place to the devil and offence. Your desire should be to make things work. You work in love, rebuke the devil, give no place to the devil in anger and offence and know that there are no perfect humans on earth. So learn to look beyond faults and see the value in your relationship. BE DELIBERATE with your relationships. Surround yourself with the right relationships. Any thing you want to see in your life is already on earth. Surround yourself with those that have them then it will rub on you. Man is a product of influence. Already in the right relationships, maximize the relationships by always being around the person and maintaining constant communication without offence.
Receive strength and wisdom to sustain divine relationships. That your relationship is revitalized now in the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen. Glory to God.
